Former Indian run-machine and Little Master Sunil Gavaskar donated 59 lakhs to the cause, and his son Rohan Gavaskar enlightened the public regarding the odd figure.
Gavaskar comes forward and assists the government in controlling the outbreak. The amount of INR 59 lakhs surprise everyone as much as receiving gratitude, the odd figure of it has come under the scanner.
The Little Master donated INR 35 lakhs to the PM-CARES Fund and 24 to CMO Maharashtra. His son Rohan explained the reasoning behind this unusual amount. He took to his Twitter handle to clarify that 35 lakhs had been donated because he made 35 centuries for India while he made 24 3-figure scores for his first-class team, Mumbai. Rohan further prayed for everyone’s good health.
