The past Indian Captain, Saurav Ganguly disagrees from the BCCI Rules of conflict of interest rule. This rule is in favor of offering one position to one person. Found to be breaching conflict rule, Ganguly mentioned that BCCI should be more broad-minded and have a practical approach towards the matter. They should permit persons to do multiple tasks and become efficient.

Ganguly is in hard opposition of the rule, thus he with Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman; all the three were breaching the conflict rule. The trio was the member of the CAC (Cricket Advisory Committee) built by BCCI. They were handling the post of making beneficial appointments in the cricket team. The significant and responsible president of Bengal cricket association, Ganguly also coach or train the IPL team of Delhi. He also works as a media commentator and a qualified freely opinionated columnist. His teammate Laxman is also a popular commentator and writes columns. Laxman also handles the position of Trainer and a significant mentor for the Sunrisers team of Hyderabad.

The CoA that is Committee of Administrator asks the BCCI to look into the case. Sachin Tendulkar to avoid any further conflicts withdraws himself from BCCI before the judgement. Ganguly and Laxman still found breaching the rules of the BCCI constitution because they were doing many multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time.

On Friday in the event of Mumbai, Ganguly states that the conflict of interest rule should not be made exceptional but it should think from the broader and beneficial approach. They should be practical and let the person perform multiple roles and responsibilities according to their ability.

According to the current rule, if the condition continues like this only then the player or the person will get limited only to the cricket and his possibilities or opportunities gets limited. He will not be able to take new and exciting roles ever.
