Bangladesh has shown rapid growth across formats and is no more considered as underdogs. Bangladesh has shown a substantial change in its approach and outclassed some of the top teams to grow as one of the most unpredictable sides in world cricket today.
Senior wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has actually charted out a plan for his country as far as the Test format is concerned. Rahim thinks Bangladesh has to do well in overseas conditions. He also stated the Test Championship is a big challenge for his side but they have the ability to do well.

Mushfiqur Rahim stated Bangladesh have beaten some big teams in the past and it gives them the confidence to achieve the top six spot. He also added it will help their players to achieve the top 10 rankings.
“Our concern is to do well outside the country. There are many big challenges ahead. The Test Championship is also a big challenge for us. We have the ability to come in the top six in Tests. There would be some important series at home if there’s no coronavirus. We had a Test series against New Zealand or Australia.
“There is also the West Indies. Every team is big, we have beaten 2 teams in the past. If we can stay in the top-6, then we can see some players in the top 10 in the player rankings,” he was quoted as stating by BDCrictime.
Bangladesh is ninth in the World Test Championship points table. They are still to get off the mark with no wins from their last 3 matches. In the ODIs, Bangladesh is ranked seventh in the world while they are 8th in the shortest format.
