FOUR! Amir Hamza to John Campbell. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control past deep extra cover for 4 runs. West Indies have completed a nine wicket victory over Afghanistan in Lucknow, finishing the job this morning in just over an hour of play. Jason Holder ensured the tail was mopped up quickly, snaring three quick wickets with some accurate fast bowling, before the batsmen cruised to the small target with alacrity. The men from the Caribbean took control of the match through Rahkeem Cornwall's superb seven wicket haul on the opening day and they never let the hosts back into the contest from there. Shamarh Brooks gave a masterful demonstration of how to bat long in difficult conditions yesterday, compiling his maiden Test century in style. Cornwall went on to finish with ten wickets in the match, reward for his consistency and guile. Afghanistan are still young in terms of Test experience and they will learn plenty from this defeat.

OUT! Caught. Amir Hamza to Kraigg Brathwaite. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, Gloved to wicketkeeper, by Zazai. A consolation wicket for Afghanistan to boost their spirits. Brathwaite was looking to smother this delivery but prodigious turn and bounce made that virtually impossible. The ball kissed the glove before being pouched behind the stumps, further evidence that a few more runs would've been difficult for West Indies to chase.
