OUT! L.B.W. Stuart Broad to David Warner. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, hit pad to. England like this one even more and so does Aleem Dar! Up goes the finger and there's no challenge from Warner. It was full and Warner played outside the line of the ball with it angling in from round the wicket and it thudded into the pads. Great start for England. Warner isn't going to be happy when he sees the replay, we've just seen Hawk-Eye and it was going down leg on the angle from Broad. The second bit of luck goes England's way.

APPEAL! Stuart Broad to David Warner. Seaming in back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot defending, hit pad to for no runs, appeal made for L.B.W. Nips back in with Warner playing on the back foot and England like it. Aleem Dar says not out but England have a discussion. Root opts for the review. Warner is betting well outside of his crease here which has been noted by the umpires. No bat and it does look straight. Here comes Hawk-Eye, it's going over the top, England lose a review.

Stuart Broad to David Warner. Half volley, down leg side on the front foot glancing, Play and Miss (Leg Side) to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Bairstow. Down the legside from Broad first ball. Warner tried to glance it to fine leg and there was a scratchy sound as the ball went by, like Warner had hit the floor with his bat. Bairstow was the only England player who made any sort of appeal and his track record is not good. UltraEdge though shows that Warner got some bat on that, he would have been given out had England reviewed. First slice of luck goes to Australia.

OUT! Caught. Stuart Broad to David Warner. Seaming away length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Leave, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Bairstow. Massive appeal, all of the catchers behind the wicket are convinced there was an edge but strangely Broad isn't too sure. Root immediately wants to review it and he's the man with the power. Once again Warner wasn't sure whether to play at it and couldn't get his bat out of the way in time. The replays show a clear edge and the crowd begins to party as England get a big early scalp.

FOUR! Stuart Broad to David Warner. Seaming away length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, thick edge for 4 runs. Not as convincing this time from the left-handed opener, caught in two minds as to whether he should play or leave and the ball squirts away off the edge.

FOUR! Stuart Broad to David Warner. In-swinging length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, well timed past long off for 4 runs. Lovely batting, Warner gets off the mark with a glorious punch down the ground. He's stood well outside of his crease which turned this delivery into a scoring opportunity.
