OUT! Run Out. Pat Cummins to Lakshan Sandakan. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, back to bowler, fielded by Cummins. It's all over, Cummins shows amazing awareness and agility to gather the ball and remove the stump from the ground after the bails had already been dislodged. A sorry end to the innings for Sri Lanka, however another fantastic Australian effort in the field. The hosts will require just 118 to seal the series with a game to spare thanks to a sublime bowling and fielding performance. Kusal Perera briefly threatened for the tourists, playing some gorgeous strokes on his way to 27, however no other Sri Lankan batsman could really get going against a relentless Aussie attack.

FOUR! Pat Cummins to Lakshan Sandakan. Short, outside off stump backing away hooking, top edge in the air uncontrolled past third man for 4 runs. Sandakan didn't know too much about that but it's crucial runs for the visitors nonetheless.

OUT! Stumped. Adam Zampa to Lasith Malinga. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump down the track Slog, missed to wicketkeeper, by Carey. No chance of a review saving Malinga this time, he misses with an ugly heave and Carey does the rest. Zampa gets his man eventually and Australia are on the verge of bowling Sri Lanka out.

FOUR! Kane Richardson to Lasith Malinga. Length ball, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed in the air under control past deep extra cover for 4 runs. Four more, Malinga isn't typically known for his batting but he's hitting them cleanly tonight.

FOUR! Kane Richardson to Lasith Malinga. Back of a length, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed past deep extra cover for 4 runs. This is more like it, the skipper shows his team how it should be done with a meaty wallop.

OUT! Caught. Pat Cummins to Isuru Udana. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep backward square leg, by Richardson. Udana gets cramped for room and can only skew this into the safe hands of Richardson. Excellent bowling, this was clearly a plan with the ideal field setting. Everything is going right for Australia tonight.

OUT! Stumped. Adam Zampa to Wanindu Hasaranga. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump down the track driving, missed to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Too easy, Carey has all the time in the world to gather and remove the bails. Zampa knew what the batsman was planning so floated this one out much wider to beat the attempted thrash.

OUT! Caught. Billy Stanlake to Dasun Shanaka. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, top edge to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Prolonged appeal and eventually the finger goes up. No thoughts of a review from Shanaka so he must know he's made contact with it. Replays show a clear tickle on the top edge to leave Sri Lanka in tatters. Stanlake has looked threatening with every ball he has bowled tonight.

OUT! Bowled. Ashton Agar to Kusal Perera. Arm length ball, middle stump on the back foot Late Cut, bottom edge to. Chopped on, Kusal Perera goes and with him go Sri Lanka's chances of posting a healthy total. This is really intelligent bowling, firing in a quick delivery that skids to cramp the batsman for room. Agar is keeping things really tight for the hosts.

OUT! Caught. Pat Cummins to Niroshan Dickwella. Back of a length, down leg side on the back foot working, leading edge in the air uncontrolled to short extra cover, by Turner. Another wicket, Cummins gets his first of the evening as Dickwella gets in an awkward tangle. He was looking to clip the ball to leg and instead it balloons up into the offside for the easiest catch Turner will ever take. The bounce did the trick there for the Aussie quick.

FOUR! Pat Cummins to Niroshan Dickwella. Length ball, middle stump moves in front Scoop, in the air under control past third man for 4 runs, mis-fielded by Stanlake. Dickwella wastes no time whatsoever, unfurling an unorthodox stroke to the first ball he faces. Stanlake is almost able to settle underneath it but in the end can't get a hand on it.

FOUR! Pat Cummins to Kusal Perera. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs. Sublime batting, hitting the ball at the top of it's bounce with elegance and power.

OUT! Caught. Ashton Agar to Avishka Fernando. Stock length ball, outside off stump down the track driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to mid on, by Cummins. Wonderful spin bowling, Agar has the bravery to toss this up and entice the big shot. He gets rewarded as Cummins tumbles forward to complete the catch, judging it perfectly as he charged in from the rope. Sri Lanka can't get going at the moment.

FOUR! Billy Stanlake to Kusal Perera. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs. That is a real statement from Kusal Perera, strolling out to the middle and then spanking his first delivery with contempt back past the big fast bowler. It made a fantastic sound off the bat.

OUT! Bowled. Billy Stanlake to Danushka Gunathilaka. Length ball, down leg side backing away Slog, missed to. The bails light up and The Gabba celebrates as one of their own takes a big wicket for Australia. The pressure was building on Gunathilaka and it has resulted in him playing a pretty filthy stroke, swinging wildly and losing his poise. Two down inside the powerplay.

FOUR! Pat Cummins to Danushka Gunathilaka. Back of a length, off stump on the back foot cutting, top edge in the air uncontrolled past third man for 4 runs. Finch has mostly kept a slip in place during this powerplay but there isn't one there when it matters most. Cummins finds the edge and Gunathilaka survives.

FOUR! Billy Stanlake to Danushka Gunathilaka. Back of a length, down leg side on the back foot pulling, well timed past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Finally Gunathilaka gets hold of one, swatting this past the man at short mid wicket before he can react. Much needed boundary.

OUT! Run Out. Billy Stanlake to Danushka Gunathilaka. Length ball, to leg on the front foot pushing, to cover, shy attempt by Turner, direct hit by Agar. Calamitous mix up with the running, hesitation from both batsmen and that means Mendis is left stranded in the middle of the pitch. Turner misses with his initial attempt to run him out but Agar anticipates well to complete the job. This isn't the start Sri Lanka wanted.

FOUR! Lasith Malinga to Steven Smith. Half volley, down leg side on the front foot flick, well timed past fine leg for 4 runs. Whipped away effortlessly, that's easy pickings for someone with as much quality as Smith.

FOUR! Lakshan Sandakan to David Warner. Left-Arm Leg Spin length ball, down leg side on the front foot reverse sweeping, well timed past third man for 4 runs. It was only a matter of time before Warner attempted something funky, such is the man's confidence at the moment. Once again the Sri Lankan fielding isn't fantastic, they have been poor in all facets though truth be told.

FOUR! Isuru Udana to David Warner. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past fine leg for 4 runs. Helped over the man at short fine leg, Warner knew precisely what he was doing there. Easy pickings, the length needs to be fuller from Udana.

FOUR! Wanindu Hasaranga to David Warner. Leg spinner back of a length, middle stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep point for 4 runs. And another one, four fours in the over for Warner means Australia are charging towards their target. Poor bowling from the leggie.

FOUR! Wanindu Hasaranga to David Warner. Googly short, down leg side on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep square leg for 4 runs. Oh dear, that's a rank delivery and Warner gives it exactly the treatment it deserves. Runs flowing for Australia.

FOUR! Wanindu Hasaranga to David Warner. Leg spinner back of a length, off stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs, mis-fielded by Mendis. Slapped square, sloppy fielding - the wheels are coming off for Sri Lanka. Warner on the rampage once again.

FOUR! Wanindu Hasaranga to David Warner. Leg spinner length ball, off stump on the front foot sweeping, well timed in the air under control past deep backward square leg for 4 runs. Warner premeditates this shot based on the field setting, only two fielders allowed on the boundary in the powerplay so it's a clever plan.

FOUR! Nuwan Pradeep to David Warner. Half volley, off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs. Blasted down the ground, Warner played plenty of shots like this on Sunday and he's carrying that form forward into tonight. The Aussies have already made a decent dent in the target.

FOUR! Lasith Malinga to Steven Smith. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs. FOUR! Nuwan Pradeep to Steven Smith. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot flick, well timed past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Wristy brilliance, whipped with complete disdain for the bowler. The fielder does his best with an athletic attempt but can't prevent the boundary.

FOUR! Nuwan Pradeep to Steven Smith. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep point for 4 runs. Threaded through the offside with surgical precision, that is Smith at his best. He didn't get the chance to bat on Sunday so he looks in the mood to make up for it tonight.

OUT! Caught. Lasith Malinga to Aaron Finch. Yorker, down leg side on the front foot glancing, inside edge to wicketkeeper, by Perera. Malinga gets an early breakthrough, just what his team needed if they are to have a chance of winning this match and staying alive in the series. Finch stomps off disappointed, he was looking to nurdle this around the corner and only managed to find the gloves of Perera.
